Hello...

I'M CLAUDIA DEVYANI

I am a registered nurse of 20 years, a yogini trained by Yogi Amrit Desai at Amrit Yoga Institute, a shaman trained at the Four Winds Society by Dr. Alberto Villoldo, and a Functional Medicine Coach trained at the Institute of Functional Medicine. I was born in São Paulo-Brazil, and I left Brazil when I was very young to study and work over 28 years ago.  (I am also an American Citizen.)

I blend all of my training, techniques and technologies to coach & guide individuals and groups toward positive change in all areas of their lives plus, lead & facilitate cleansing & rejuvenation experiences at my Brazilian Prem Sudha Retreat Center.

My retreats are held in a fabulous out of this world location. Florianopolis, Brazil is an Island, and the house is located inside of the Atlantic Forest with a fantastic tropical back drop and jaw dropping views of the Atlantic Ocean.

The inspiration to create this space came from after working for many years as a nurse in hospital settings including emergency rooms, ICU, and cardiac units with many cardiovascular procedures, which included open heart surgery.

I noticed during my work that allopathic medicine only covers the surface of all ailments, it’s like placing Band Aids in open and dirty wounds. If you show up at the hospital with high blood pressure, the ER doctors, first and only concern, is to find the right drug that will decrease your blood pressure and then send you home with a prescription that you'll take from that point through the rest of your life. The doctor is not concerned with the root cause, especially if it has a remote possibility to be related to stress, depression, anxiety or due to a deeper conflict or traumatic event. From that point on, we become part of the system, and an annuity for several doctors, hospitals, pharmaceutical industry etc.

Additionally, I've witnessed that people today are so disconnected from their body. By the time they notice something different like a tumor, heart disease, or lung disease, etc., it was already late in the game and they had extended the body’s health over the limit.

It’s a fear-based system and fear paralyzes us from doing what we need to do in life. Fear prevents us from stopping and feeling our senses & our body, fear causes separation between body, soul and spirit, fear only reminds us of the past experience, and unfortunately, the vicious cycle of all of this, is that our past experiences then become part of our everlasting present.

The healthcare system that we have today in the world is dis-empowering. The focus is in disease processes rather than the focus being on keeping the body healthy and vital and extending longevity.

IF WE ALLOW IT TO DO WHAT IT NEEDS TO DO BY PROVIDING IT THE RIGHT ENVIRONMENT, QUALITY FOOD, HAPPINESS, RESTING TIME, AND MOST IMPORTANT, CONNECTION WITH OUR NATURE & SOURCE.

The Body Knows What to Do

I must say that during this period of working in hospital settings, I was also hiding from my own traumas. I was negating myself the possibility to do something about what was taking place in front of me.

I worked 16 hours a day, and was on call all night at least 3 times a week. I couldn’t stop. By then, I was also addicted to the rush of adrenaline running through my body every time I had an almost dead patient on a stretcher.

I was so sick that my morning routine was to get inside my unit and quickly look for the most difficult patients. I would jump all over it, because it was easier to occupy my day with controlling patient’s vital signs, drug drips, ventilators etc. rather than think about what was really happening in my own feeling center.

Then one day, the adrenaline rush finally caught up to me & I landed in my own ER bed. I was bleeding from my rectum, I had severe lower abdominal pain, and I simply passed out during a cath lab case I was covering.

Next thing I know, I was having a colonoscopy. Surgery was scheduled for the next day to remove parts of my colon. My doctor said, "you have cancer, it’s an aggressive kind and we are going to just go ahead and remove parts of your colon."

I jumped out of my hospital bed, removed my IV, and dressed and left against medical orders. I didn’t care, I am a nurse and I could not be sick!

Next day, I went to visit my Guru Amrit Desai, and I'll never forget his words, "You need to go have whatever is inside of you out, then you come back and we will work something else together but you got to stop working this very stressful job." From that day, I never ever worked one more day in a hospital.

And, so it is and thy will be done and here I am today. One hundred percent healed, cured, happy, joyful and completely supported by the Source and by the "I am that I am."

My dream is to share myself and the wisdom I acquired throughout my journey with all those that are ready to unearth themselves and are committed to live a more vibrant and joyful life.

WE ARE MADE JUST LIKE THE REST OF SOURCE'S CREATION

We Are Omni-Present

& Omni-Powerful

AND, WE ALL HAVE AN INNATE KNOWING...

A WISDOM WITHIN THAT CAN BE REVIVED & AWAKENED.

My goal is to guide and be of service to those that I am inviting to cross this path and get in this amazing journey with me.
